Farah Sulaiman & Friends to raise funds for Down's Syndrome children

READY TO ROCK N ROLL: Sparks of Broadway's singing team
KUALA LUMPUR: Local Broadway stars Farah Sulaiman & Friends are back with yet another charity musical, Sparks of Broadway, and this time they are raising funds for children with Down's Syndrome.
Recently, the Down's Syndrome Association of Malaysia (PSDM) announced they need up to RM500,000 to conduct new vocational and career training programmes.
Farah Sulaiman & Friends comprises parents of the young Broadway performers, volunteers and close friends of Farah, converging for a common purpose of building a better society through performing arts.
Last year, they successfully restaged DanSing Thru Broadway. Sparks of Broadway will be staged at the Kuala Lumpur City Hall Auditorium from June 25 to 27.
There are altogether five shows, and the gala night, on June 25, will be graced by Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
Produced and choreographed by Farah Sulaiman, directed by Sabrina Hassan and with Peter Ong as musical director, the musical is a revue of popular songs from various Broadway musicals.
Those taking part are 50 performers of various age groups.
